What "Finding Enough Time to Do Everything" Sounds Like

Business owners often share their time struggles in different ways. I happen to think this is one of their BIGGEST struggles. But how they express that is not always going to be a straightforward statement.

Here’s what it might sound like:

1️⃣ I just can’t keep up.

2️⃣ I need to focus on my clients, but all this admin stuff keeps piling up.

3️⃣ I wish I had more hours in the day.

4️⃣ I’m constantly putting out fires.

5️⃣ I spend all night catching up on emails and paperwork.

6️⃣ I don’t have time to do marketing or get more customers.

7️⃣ I hate the back-and-forth with clients/vendors—it’s such a time suck.

8️⃣ I feel like I’m always behind schedule.

9️⃣ I’m great at [craft/service], but I’m not good at all this admin stuff.

🔟 I need help, but I’m not sure where to start.

When you hear these, here’s how to respond:

“I understand. I can handle [specific tasks or admin work] so you can focus on [their primary goal or craft]. Let me take care of things like [emails, scheduling, invoicing] to free up your time for what you’re really good at. Together, we’ll make sure nothing falls through the cracks.”

This approach shows empathy, highlights the value of your help and reassures them they’re in capable hands.

Focus on how you can lighten their load and give them back their time.
