Be Your First Client

Before You Market Yourself as a VA, Ask This:

Have you ever done research for your first client - you?

As a Virtual Assistant, a lot of your job will involve researching ways to help clients work smarter and more efficiently. But before pitching yourself, you need to take the same approach for your own business.

Think about your skills from everyday life (meal planning, budgeting, scheduling) and past jobs.

Now, ask yourself:

  • What are my strengths?

  • What skills do I need to improve?

  • What services do I enjoy offering?

In my early days, I skipped this step and pitched without clarity. It worked - but it could’ve been smother and I'm sure I could have gotten more results much quicker.

Looking back, I wish I had taken 30 minutes to map out my skills, choose three to focus on, and refine my message.

Clarity → Confidence → Sales.

Start with a self-assessment to lay your foundation. You’ll pitch with confidence and deliver results. We got worksheets for all of that. And you don't have to do it alone. ➡️ www.skool.com/dotheboringwork
